The "Samuel Williams Leadership Foundation" was established to highlight the positive and inspiring character traits in youth, in the memory of Samuel Williams.   Sam completed his Sophomore year at Wootton High School.   Sam was an honor student, outstanding community volunteer, and Eagle Scout, who tragically passed away in June 2013.  Th foundation was established to share, and continue Sam's message of being Trustworthy, Responsible, Uplifting, and Enthusiastic.  These traits are highlighted in the "Be T.R.U.E. Leadership Award" at Wootton High School.   The goal of the foundation is to raise funds to provide a variety of team building and leadership opportunities.  The "Be T.R.U.E. Leadership Award" is being kicked off this year with a 5K run/walk event at Wootton High School on March 22, 2014.  On-line registration is NOW open at: http://www.woottonboosterclub.org/sw_runwalk.html.

Please register by Friday, February 28th, to guarantee a shirt for race day.   Late on-line registration will be available from February 28th to March 14th, 2014 with a five dollar late fee.   The details for this event can be found at the registration site.
