June 2013

Sam will always be remembered for his beaming smile, great sense of humor, and his helpful nature.  He was a true friend to many and a delight to his family.  He always was up for a new adventure and had great times racing on dirt bike trails with his Dad, wake boarding across Deep Creek Lake, skiing, and taking trips with the Boy Scouts and his family.  We will also remember Sam for giving so much of his wonderful heart to others.  We are touched by the wonderful memories of Sam that friends have shared.   We will keep these moments close to our hearts.  He was an extraordinary gift from God, who lived life to the fullest, and always went out of his way to make anyone he met feel special.

Sam attained the rank of Eagle Scout at 15, an honor role student, and had the goal of attending the U.S. Naval Academy where he could continue his excellence in service, academics and leadership.
